Welcome

Welcome to thefolksinger.com

TheFolksinger.com is a site created to bring to you the world of American Folk Music as presented by Bill Evenhouse, an accomplished musician and composer. More about Bill can be read on the Biography page. To keep track of where Bill is playing, look at his Agenda. Latest gigs will give an idea of what a concert looks like.

The most important aspect of TheFolksinger.com is of course Bill’s music. There is a listening page where little snippets of songs can be played. These give a quick impression of the various styles Bill implements. The download page gives access to complete songs in MP3 format for your personal listening pleasure.

Browse this site, still under construction, by clicking on any of the pages or categories to the right, and exploring the pages each category leads to. The most general of the Categories is Cairo Home News.

To find details about the next concert, click on the Category named Concerts. To listen to some songs right now, or later at your convenience, go to http://web.mac.com/rueven/iWeb/Site/Podcast/Podcast.html.
